Creative consultation and styling for

NO NAME Studio Fashion Week 2020. 

During the pandemic the runway format was adapted to a fashion film. Based on everyday popular objects of Mexico City the street visual language we missed was translated into fashion.

Upcycling and handmade processes were central to the styling, from ribbons & bows of the traditional Mexican gift wrapping as accessories, kitsch elements, raw painting, to religious merchandise and charro buckles used in unconventional ways we built a different pov to honor popular elements. The makeup is inspired in the endless colorful aesthetics in everyday Mexican beauty looks and the hair dressing is inspired by the maximalist form of being Mexican.
