Being Memoria

Creative direction, wardrobe design and character design for Being Memoria, a short film by 1/8 Takamura. The concept translated the brand’s foundations of classic Japanese technical clothing into a dystopian visual language, revealing a bolder side of its identity and possibilities.

Ozu, a time traveler, moves through a futuristic, theatrical Mexico City, encountering different characters along the way. Her garment becomes her guide, unraveling threads that transform into oracles, each one revealing a clue that helps her reconnect with the present.
